Dr. Pearlman is a graduate of Tufts University and Emory University School of Medicine. Within his study of nephrology, his interests include acute and chronic kidney disease, transplant nephrology, critical care nephrology, hypertension, diabetes, polycystic kidney disease, acid-base and electrolyte abnormalities, home and in-center hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. He has delivered medical grand rounds in the Inova and MedSTAR systems on topics including nephrogenic systemic fibrosis, chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, and hypertensive crisis. In his free time, he enjoys coaching his two children in baseball and basketball and is an avid runner. Metropolitan Nephrology Associates sees patients from Northern and Fairfax, VA.
